I got a gig doing some online software training. What should I use, Camtasia, Captivate? Other?
Is there Open Source software I can use?
Thanks to anyone with some knowledge of this that can share.

Quick Time will do this
File > New Screen Recording ... you can then select a portion of the screen or record the whole thing

I've found Screenflow to be the best.

+1 for Screenflow. Quicktime works nice too though. If you want your computer audio, look into a tutorial for SoundFlower routing your audio to a soundflower device then recording the soundflower device. Tho i think screenflow gets audio too.

I used liteCam HD recently with some success. Free version worked fine.

I've always used Quicktime. Easy.
But what if I want to have animations to represent clicks shown? Which do you recommend?
