Do you or does your team do their own web production work (slicing images, making specs, etc) or do you have a specific production designer to do this?
Art director here in an advertising agency, we don't have in-house developers.
I don't usually slice images or makes specs, the production team does it but it depends on how lazy the team we work with is. (Sometimes I have to).
years ago I was the css monkey, all I did was getting images out of some gay designers crap psd-file, correct their fancy shit and rebuild in css. I'm glad these days are over. Thumbs up for flat design, no more shit glossy backgrounds with gradient edges and glow stuff.
Usually done by devs these days. Kinda made sense when designs were table based because but these days the devs want to implement it their own was so theres no point a designer trying to guess how a dev wants to implement something.
