"AI Websites That Design Themselves"
Thoughts? Took'er jobs?
I guess i gotta learn this now
If this is as good an idea in practice as what it seems in theory there goes all my small website business lol
Once they adapt it to print we'll all be out of work.
How does it work with web apps?
there was quite an interesting discussion about this over on designer news....I don't think it's really anything to be scared of...it's honestly not much different than any other the other players in this sector..all the talk of 'AI' making the design decisions etc is mostly just marketing pitch...
that being said though, i do find it interesting....although I think their price point is WAY fucking high....that alone will kill it....
$96/year, if that includes hosting we're all fucked

From their FAQ ::
I noticed your Facebook Page is blank. What gives?
Before us, sites were stale while social media was the primary source of fresh content. In our case, our Facebook Page is stale but thegrid.io is alive and breathing.
This is a scam, just like Facebook...but you pay them monthly.
Seems they are claiming that they can pull their content through Git. I have never seem if the use of version control that way. This is how their "AI" keeps track of it can compare content?
You know how you see a nice wordpress template, and it's all polished and looks really nice, and then you buy that template, and you give it to someone, and they add their own photos to it... all 90 of them, and they add their their own long-ass headlines in BOLD/RED/CAPS/UNDERLINE, and they add their own list formatted content with 130 bullet-points, and the really important ones are BOLD/CAPS/RED/UNDERLINE/ARROWBUL... and that all goes on the homepage, and somehow it just doesn't look as nice as that template you thought you bought?
Well no amount of AI is ever gonna fix that issue.
