Premiere for sure - better than iMovie.
Or Windows Movie Maker for v.basic stuff which is WIndows equivalent of iMovie.

Sony Vegas on Windows is actually pretty nice for what I do... It has a very nice multi-pane window click-on-what-you-want system for editing multi-camera footage, and there are lots of tutorials on youtube on how to use it, just make sure the tutorial is for the version you are using, as some features are different between versions.... also note that some stuff is included in Vegas that may be extra in other systems...

Vegas is great but Premiere, from my limited evidence, is more widely used (and/or After Effects).
- yes, premeire is nice, in my experience it is slower than vegas on a laptop, great with desktop +_ graphics cardvaxorcist

man its a professional movie? So you should use premiere.
If no you could use youtube editor.

use Premiere or Final Cut (even though Final cut sucks), don't waste invest any time learning some other shitty shit unless you want to be shitty

Anyone tried out Davinci Resolve from the guys at Balckmagic?
Basically you want software for sequencing and something for color correction/grading. Some will do both with different ranges of quality.
- yes, but thats just grading, not editingmoldero
- Yeah i know, was just wondering if it was goodrosko_picachu

So I dug up this oldie because I've been learning Premiere from scratch (mainly to edit music videos I shot) and wondering if any QBNer out there have any n0ob tips or great learning resources? Been watching YT tutorials (Peter McKinnon etc).. basic stuff like organizing assets before/after ingestion, timeline tips, whatever. Im a beast in AI, InD, PS, just new to video. Thanks in advance !
here's a good one I'm watching now»

Davinci Resolve 15 - professional features and free.

Vegas is ok and easy to learn for basics. It used to be super buggy though (back in versions 4-7, then i gave up on the software).
Premiere might be easier to incorporate into your workflow.
