Not sure if it's just some perverse exchange rate thing, or I'm just incredibly cheap (probably the latter), but £90+ for the ‘Churchill’, which is essentially little more than a piece of wood with a bulb stuck to it, is borderline comical.
Although when I write things like that, I wonder whether I've turned 100% into my father... :)

As much as I like these old-fangled multi-filament incandescent bulbs, there was a fairly decent reason for moving beyond incandescents that, in my mind at least, should be foremost in the mind of every designer - namely, the environment.
Also, and this is a beef I have with a lot of laser-cut stuff i see - a light that allows me to see the bright core of the bulb is instantly useless to me.
.
As an aside, have you considered doing slight discounts for bulk buys, and then approaching hip bars and restaurants and such?
- er, sorry - that was quite negative - I like them, but in context. They're not really my sort of thing, personally.detritus
- Yeah just launched last week, made a few sales so far. Trying to do exactly that, getting a bar outfitted. PS. The internet can never be to negative.hiten
- incandescents bans lobbied by CFL makers. CFLs more troublesome with the mercury inside, and land fill waste.deathboy
- DETritus your chimes sound like fartscanoe
