$4000 might cover any catering expenses that would just sort of "happen" from a production effort such as this. Then again it might not.

I wonder who he is. Maybe it's a cult leader?

How much do animations like this cost?
- randommail0
I would love to troll the guy. Maybe a fake resume telling him I worked at Dreamworks and Pixar and that I could do his project for $500.
Just to see if I can get his personal info and scam the guy.

Just hit the go back button.

I think he just doesn't have any clue how animation works.

Calles?

Wow. $4000, 6 weeks, no storyboard, make it feature quality. LOL. This guy has no clue what it takes to do that.

Can one person do animation like this or does it need a team of people working for weeks?
Could some team in eastern europe do it for $10,000?
- If they had a storyboard, maybe.riskunlogic
- NO STORYBOARD!404
- omahadesigns0
At least he didn't say $500.

Someone should respond:
"So I see you got $4K to cover lunch. How much you got for the actual project?"
- That just sounds bratty.omahadesigns
- WTF you think the job posting sounds like?Fantrom

haha, so the estimated budget for his animation example (Rise of the Guardians) was : $145,000,000
If you assume at last half of that is animation cost and then divide by running time and you get around $750,000 per minute of animation.
He's gonna need a few more $$

If I'd be able to do this animation in the example, I wouldn't even start my machine for $4000!

Forgive them, they just left an extra 0 off the timeframe and the budget.
- i asked them if they left a 0 off eachrabbit
- er 2 0's and that's just for the promo...babaganush
