The "AI actress" story looks suspiciously to me like someone just rendered a generic-looking picture of a woman, made a few AI video clips from it and set up an Instagram page.

The images and video are not even that great as far as AI goes. And based on that the media starts writing about the world's first AI actress... talent agencies want to sign the AI actress... people in Hollywood are outraged by it. I guess it's a nice publicity stunt but it's just mind-boggling how dumb people are.

Does anyone know how you would go about creating something like this? The AI music generators I tried would always refuse when I tried to use lyrics from an existing song.

as slopish as this is it's still 1000x better than anything Hollywood can do and I'd watch this as long as there was some human element to it - voice actors, script etc.
