Man, I really hope there never was an iWatch. Just a rumor spread by apple. How cool would that be.
- Would be pretty funny. But I'm not sure if Apple's into starting rumors.monospaced

Would be useful to control the songs I'm playing on the phone
- you can do that with most existing wearables that pair, or with the inline controller on the headphone cablemonospaced

This is really awesome, and I think developers can make some great content that is relevant to one's surroundings. But I can't help but think that this form-factor—the small circle that is the face of a watch—will be nothing more than frustrating for things that are more complex than a 6-word text message. I can't even imagine trying to use a map, or read a full tweet, or sift through a fucking calendar on something that small. I don't think people will want to.
- They'll want to, but I just don't see it working very well when you have to keep swiping.monospaced
- I agreeset
- 20 seconds into the film they show a rectangular watch. The first watch.chossy

I hate the idea of a iWatch, but I like that Health thing Apple is doing. If I could have a tiny, tiny, tiny thing that kept track of fitness stuff I'd buy it (was going to buy a Fitbit, but holding off).
What I do NOT want...something that tries to replace my phone or my watch. I'd rather have Google Glass, once it becomes integrated into some decent design.
Man, the future is going to be annoying and ugly!
- yup. the health thing is really interesting and is new.inteliboy

Until it's more convenient than pulling your phone from your pocket, but just as (if not more) functional, there's just no point.

I've been very, very skeptical of these "watches", but have to admit thinking about buying a Fitbit, then seeing Samsung's thing, which admittedly looks ok, I am beginning to think Apple could pull it off.
If they wait until they can get the form small enough and not be a calculator-sized/look, something like the Samsung health thing, I could see a more refined version (smaller, thinner) that you could wear on one wrist for exercise stuff, and a nice Breitling (their new Transoceans are just gorgeous) on the other.
No way could it ever replace a nice watch on the high end, but it could wipe out the Seiko market.

- ? yeah that's what this thread is about.inteliboy
