its true that we were all experimenting a lot at that time. now everyone just try make their stuff fits the popular standards.
Also people have the attention span of a fish, we scroll and check stuff for 0,5sec and we are just looking to feed our brain with more and more. Back then, we were taking way more time to analyse websites we were visiting.
