Not sure about adobe max. All the zoom presentations are kind of annoying
- i_monk1
Just copied dozens of pages from one file to another to discover it breaks all of the hyperlinks. They now point to the original file, not the URL specified.
FFS.

Here's an occasional annoying in After Effects that hasn't been fixed in decades. You can only change the bit depth of an entire project file, and not individual comps.

ALSO,
https://www.adobe.com/max.html
IF you've got time to kill AND we know now it's not kosher to spank it during zoom calls, have a gander at Adobe MAX free for all.

Illustrator Issue:
I lose GPU zooming after viewing in artwork mode in Illustrator. Is there a way to prevent this other than restarting the app?I have GPU checked under Preferences - Performance.

@Shapesalad
The PDF issue you mentioned a few posts up ^^ is a ball ache alright. It's such a standard thing we have to do on a daily basis.
My work around is having a 'dead' artboard. I set up artboard 1 as a small board and stick it away up in the top left of the pasteboard. When I save as PDF I then always use page range, starting at artboard 2 and running to the end of the document. That way it saves, but leaves the working file as an .ai
But this kind of bullshit work around is not something you should have to do with an expensive industry standard bit of software.

I probably have mentioned this before but exporting from AE or Media Encoder I'm always careful to delete the relentless _1 from file names in the output field. Despite that, about half the time AE or Media Encoder will put it back. It's so annoying that I've gotten into the habit of deleting the files I want to replace.

Adobe sucks.
Photoshop has become unusable, bloated trash.Affinity for me.

I only use my adobe account for Typekit, the occasional online signature through Adobe Acrobat, and every once in a blue moon the After Effects animation.

I have an 8gb M1 and it is still a slug.
After effects is the only thing keeping me in their eco system
About to cancel my Photoshop subscription in about a month.
Worse company ever but i get it, they were being robbed blindly for years
Paybacks a bitch i guess

Affinity already launched their app. It's nice but nowhere near Adobe functionality. Plus, it only substitutes Illustrator, which is probably the app that has already plenty of alternatives. There's no competition for Indesign, every Photoshop competitor is so limited it looks like a toy in comparison. Apple has shown no interest in filling that gap by the lack of serious interest in it's "Pro" apps that could rival After Effects and Premiere (there's much more alternatives in this department but they're expensive as hell). Adobes best move was to buy Macromedia, resulting in a real monopoly for ever.
But I really want so see Affinity succeed, I think they're on the right track. I bought their software even though I rarely touch it. there's still some enhancements needed before I can make the final jump to it.

ADOBE is having huge problem with sign-in ID's at the moment.
Again.

I will use Affinity until Adobe buys em and kills em.

I use Indesign nearly everyday. Photoshop once a week. Illustrator once a month. Lightroom once a month. AE once a year.
cracking is very enticing. but am not a fucking teenage student anymore. will probably bite and go CC...
