Cinema 4D Sketch & Toon Question

I'm scouring the googles and Maxon program help but can't find a way to render lines (outlines and folds) and have the object shading transparent. I know I can set an object color to match a background color but I'm using an outer space scene for the background. I can set up a separate render pass but I like to see everything together.
Is there a way to have the object be transparent and still render Sketch & Toon lines?

i was checkin this the other day
you should go to your render settings > sketch and toon
and under shading tab, you should set "off" for the object shading options.that will render the outlines you want and use the material as a texture, instead of making everything cartoon like.
but having a separate pass for it (a copy of the file rendering only the lines) and then compositing is a better option.
Oh! don't forget to check "resolution independent" under render tab of sketch and toon, so the line thickness is independent of the size of your render.

Feel, Thanks for the tips. I was trying to avoid a separate render pass. I always find that a visual/mental leap that's too much for my fragile brain. Juesvm's solution was to pretty much do what I had already but apply a transparent material to my object. I had the Sketch & Toon object applied to the object in the Object Manager. I applied the Sketch & Toon material in Render settings > Sketch & Toon > Render.
- And yes, I checked Resolution Independent. I'm not sure why that isn't set by default.CyBrainX

add a compositing tag to the object in question. Deselect seen by camera.
