I usually don't want to do anything with cell phone photos but once they're imported to your computer with iPhoto they seem to disappear. Google seems to only have info on older versions of iPhoto/OSX. This applies to Mavericks and iPhoto '11.
Where are my photos?

Home Folder > Pictures > iPhoto Library.
The library itself is just a package folder, so right click it and select "view package", and you can browse the whole library folder structure (your originals should be sorted by date with Masters).

As Nathan_Adams said. But the easiest way is just to browse them via iPhoto. If you want something out of it, just drag it out...

Dragging them out worked. In Mavericks you can right click on iPhoto Library.photolibrary in your Pictures folder but the photos are buried in a lot of subfolders.
Thanks everyone.

iphoto is the worst application ever.
I refuse to use it.Just plug your phone in and use Image Capture from now on.
Download the photos to wherever you want, and file as appropriate.
