How often do you completely forget about work to do?
I got an email from a friend of a friend over a month ago about some small design project they needed help with. I said I would do it, then completely forgot until now.
They never reminded me, but I now feel terrible.
Does this happen to you? Do you still send and apologise?

I always over promise. Especially when drunk.
Oh, wait...

Did they pay you? If they don't remind you, and they didn't pay you then talk is just talk.

did they give you a deadline? then you're not late. they should appreciate your good help

Just don't work for friends. Or their friends. Or their family. Or your own family. Just don't.

Stopped doing shit for friends YEARS ago... I value you their friendship and it saves me having to knock a mother fucker out when they start getting shitty.

It happened to me once and I nearly had a heart attack. I think I pulled an all-nighter to bang something out. Never again!
