Anyone ever seen any clever business cards for
other professions?Say you had to do something like a Psychologist's business card, would you do anything besides elegant type?

Depends on the psychologist. Are they a practitioner or are they academic? Do they put a lot of themselves personally into their work, or do they maintain a level of professionalism with a good bedside manner?

Normal professional independent practitioner.

I would opt for a clean, friendly, open, contemporary serifed typeface. The "design" should be in the way the card feels in your hand as much as what you print on it. I'd go for a thick, pillowy paper.

If I was seeing a professional for something as serious as that I'd rather their business card wasn't some twee jokey bullshit
