Firebug has a "view responsive layouts" in the Resize tool. And you're all using firebug right?

Isnt that supposed to scale the page down instead of just cropping it?

Or if you are in a hurry - just resize your browser window.

which allows you to set custom dimensions etc.

it does annoy me in chrome when trying to view iphone width (320) chrome only lets you go down to 400px.
so you have to put your inspector window as a right hand panel (as opposed to bottom panel) and scale down your view. So your link would be easier than that! cheers :)

Filed in useful but will never use folder.

I find resizing the window down doesn't always give an accurate representation of mobile though, particularly when scroll bars get in the way, or you're running some mobile specific javascript. In those instances, it's best to fire up iOS Simulator.

also i wonder if this site would take into account meta viewport tag information (in regards to smaller viewports). i dont think it does, but havent tested it fully.
