I know this has been discussed in other threads, but I couldn't really find anything definitive.
Who do you use to print business cards? I really like the quality of moo.com but I don't like their awkward sizes.
Looking to print a bunch (probably 100-250) for an event I'm going to in a couple weeks.
Any other good quality, quick printing, go-to vendors or site recommendations?

they have the standard 3.5" x 2" size

Where do you live?
Any printer does a million business cards. You can do better than moo.

find someone in your area that does hand letterpress, they can do small runs.
like this place http://www.yelp.com/biz/aardvark…

Contact your local laser cutter and have them made to any size or shape you wish.
- or just get out a ruler, x-acto, cutting matt etc and cut your own.detritus
- 200-300 wil t ake you, what, ½ an hour?detritus
- or you could draw registration lines in sugar water and train ants to nibble out your cards.detritus
- that might take a while though.detritus
- It'd be fairly entertaining. Well, for the first ten minutes, anyway.Continuity

I have been using Print Shaq for a few year for really nice looking cards. 2 sided full-color, embossing, spot varnish, rounded corner for $160, qty. 500

I'm in LA...definitely some good vendors around here, just wasn't sure if it'd cost more or less to do such a low print run with one of them.
Aardvark looks good...gonna check them out.
@albums - All I can find is 3.30" x 2.16" - do you know if they offer 3.5" x 2" as well?

Looked into printshaq.com and aardvark and both printers take too long.
Need the cards ASAP but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for them.
Any decent online vendors?

I'd rather print my own with my own paper and print.

I silkscreen my own cards.
the imperfection makes each one of them one of a kind. LOL
