Ciao. I'm an American living in Italy, and hoping to make it to London this fall. What does it look like out there for designers at the moment? Any guidance or leads from the locals would be appreciated. Thanks!

Nothing to say regarding work in London, but for your site, I'd say some project descriptions would help. It would be nice to know what you were asked to do, what you designed, and when.

- I only have American citizenship. I'd have to get a work visa.Presta

- You spelled Clearly wrong on a vision brochure.monospaced
- Because it's the most boring thing I can think of.fredddddd
- Just because something is real, doesn't mean it's worth showing.fredddddd
- The design is good, but the project is not.fredddddd
- Ok. It might be boring to some, but I have it up there because it's a national brand.Presta
- Thanks for catching the typo. Will fix. Luckily this wasn't the final concept to go to print.Presta
- National brand, who cares. It's not like it's a well respected brand.fredddddd

Give credit to photographers.

- Everything except the Stanford mural, the golf putters, and Pearle Vision...Presta
- I have no idea who shot those photos, as they were all provided to me from the client...Presta
- Each Stanford photo was shot by a different person from the 1970s through the 2000s.Presta

As with any big city, there's work to be found – going direct to design firms/agencies or with recruitment agencies. But, you may have issues getting work in London without a working VISA. It's crazy that the US and UK don't have easier working VISA rules.
Good luck.
