white circle means you're on edge network, so its probably limited or reduced service for whatever reason (tower issues, weird area, etc?)

lost reception, changed from 3G network to the slower one. you can try to reboot your network services going into flight-mode and turn it off again. or change your geoposition till you get better reception.

reset your network settings, it worked for me a couple of times

Tried resetting network settings already. It just literally cant send text messages anymore. Im in a place where it was working fine 3 hours ago, but for the last 3 hours it wont work anymore. Never seen this happen before.
- Oh awesome, I cant make calls anymore. Im in an area that I know for a fact has great service.CygnusZero4
- Is it possible a plane crashed into the tower? lolCygnusZero4

Yeah Im testing everything on the phone now. Nothing works, calls fail when I try, no internet, no texting. I can still play candy crush thank god. I was about to throw this piece of shit in the toilet until I saw that was still working. Sweet phone bro.

call your service provider. maybe your payment was "lost in the mail"
- paid onlineCygnusZero4
- i assumed that, but i think if you call them you may find out it's a problem on their end and not the phone. that is only a guess though.lvl_13

Are you with orange?? My lady has had these exact same problems, it was the local 3G mast having a major problem. We both have iPhones, I'm on O2 and have not had one issue, she even took it to Southampton apple store and they reset it further back than we can with iTunes. It's still not working properly 5 months later, orange have only admitted that it was their issue in the last two weeks! My lady has been driven mad by it all...

You can always just go to your carrier or an apple store for support. Probably more helpful than QBN.

Get an android. They never have problems like those piece of shit iPhones.
- i would switch if the ui looked nice. but it doesn't.doesnotexist

- Dude. Android UI is a million times more original, stable, innovative, useful, consistent and gorgeous than anything apple has.monospaced
- Apple has. It's so good in fact that apple is shitting and will be bankrupt if they don't copy soon.monospaced
- I used to say i'd switch to android if the UI was as nice. I switched. It is as nice. In fact it's much nicer...set

The circle is GPRS not EDGE. Which is the slowest kind of mobile Internet. You should be able to text and call regularly with it so it has nothing to do with the type of coverage.
Try a Hard Reboot ( hold power + home button for a few seconds until it reboots
