Watched it with the missus. Sh was really excited by it then got very bored very quickly.
The thing that bugged me most was that the Gatsby story that isn't really shown (his rags to riches story) could be awesome. Instead we just have a semi-rich guy wanking over a really rich guy and then some people die.

Has anyone read the book? This movie brought it to life really well -- and the contemporary music? Who couldn't tie a story about unfettered ambition, entitlement and greed bulldozing over the battered lives of the 'everyman' to right now? I only had trouble with Leo's death close up - weird
