Hi all,
We've got a video (.mov currently) and we want to have it on a CD that automatically plays the video when it's inserted into a Windows computer.
Is this possible, and what is the best file type to convert the video file to?
Hope that makes sense! Cheers.

I suppose you could just author a quick DVD without a menu

Yes! That's a very good (and obvious) answer! I wish I had my laptop here 'cause I've got Toast on it...

you'll have problems with .mov format and windows. Very few have Quicktime installed. I suggest making a .mp4 encoded in h264.
As for the autoplay, someone else will have to help you with that but what I remember we did back in the day was to use a txt file with like 2 / 3 lines of code to execute the autoplay. You can probably google that shit.- h264 not a good idea - just a standard avi for older windows machinesfadein11

the dvd will encode at a lower resolution (if burned as DVD - Video) unless it's a Blu-Ray.

Cool, .mp4 it is then...
I found this:
[autorun]
open=file.html
icon= icon.icoObviously I edit the filename with the video name... does that look like it would do the trick?

^ watch using h264 for older windows machines - just use an avi?

Normal PC's should read h264 with no problems, unless it's one of those that still sports IE6.
The truth is, I've never been able to successfully export a good avi from a Mac. If someone has a good solution to it, I'm all ears, otherwise you'll need a PC for the avi export...
