don't buy farmed fish, problem solved. Pay a little more, eat it less often, get the wild stuff.
no wait, don't eat wild fish, they are endangered due to overfishing. Pay a little more and eat lobster. They have made a huge comeback and are very abundant.

Check out your sustainable fish guide - every country should have one. Farmed fish is not a good choice a lot of the time either. The one here for Australians makes for interesting reading considering how many prawns they get through...

Interesting looking film. A little ropey, but seems honestly made.
If the data is legit it seems like an open/shut case (although I only watched the first half).
It doesn't have many credentials, though? Why not? Simply a lack of PR?

Our app brings you up-to-date recommendations for ocean-friendly seafood and sushi.
And now the newest version, with Project FishMap, lets you share the locations of restaurants and markets where you’ve found sustainable seafood. As the map grows, you’ll also be able to see what others have found near you.Help us map the businesses and restaurants in your area! Together we’ll make it easy to find ocean-friendly seafood wherever you are.

Here is a comment from a facebook post I saw today (edited slightly for grammar, spelling, etc):
Whenever dealing with these kinds of issues—whether it be fishing, oil, lumber or whatever is—by cutting one thing you effect another.
The fact of the matter is our oceans are over-fished and there are quite strict guidlines and shortened season restrictions on commercial fishing—go to a dock and ask any of 'em.
The other fact, then, is fish farms create both a product plus a form of income for a large amount of people. The majority of my closest friends rely on one or the other for their income. Shut them both down then it starts to effect the restraunt industry and my dear friend (Guy) from creating delicious salmon plates.
I totally agree there are issues but throwing down a statement like that (Stop Farming) for public debate is gonna spark a fire or two.
