Tear jerking emotional bs,
OMG, I use to think I was so ugly,
thanks Dove for proving it to me

Remember those OKCupid MSPaint portraits

There's no way that the sketch artist would produce such consistent images (so as to be comparable) from two separate descriptions from two different people, it's bullshit.
I was thinking of a spoof where it's all guys being asked to describe girls. The girls describe themselves first and a normal sketch is produced. Then the guys describe them, and the sketch is all about the cleavage etc the face is pretty much left blank

if the test subject were guys. they'd be uglier than what they think they are. lol

I like the idea and the fact that the product isn't even mentionned or put in front.

Actually, I think the first drawings are much more interesting.
I also think people are not going to describe someone they just met as hideous—even though they may be.

This is just dumb, Im sure he was psychologically influenced. Its like those tv ads that grey out everything to show how dirty it is and then saturate the whole thing when its clean.
Bollox imo

Those are probably the good ones out of like 100 drawings.

I find it weird how many of you think those sketches weren't done in a single sitting, or that similarities couldn't be achieved. Of course they can! Great sketch artists do this day in day out, I've seen it with my own eyes dozens of times.

Pretty obvious that the artist was told to make the first one more 'ugly'
- And to exaggerate features on both descriptions.instrmntl
- not obvious at all... the women have low self esteem and described themselves that way, that's why they cried aftermonospaced
- qTime0
It maybe over the top bs but at least they are 'real' women.
- what's over the top BS? Why do you all think this is fake? Cynical fucks, damnmonospaced
- because nobody here came up with that idea. If it was a 'look what I made' post, things would be different...OSFA

"What dove has been doing for years is telling women that even if they have imperfections they can always feel better and look better in their own mind using dove"
I love what RB did in china
http://www.businessweek.com/arti…
"When Reckitt Benckiser Group (RB/) brought its Veet hair-removal cream to China in 2005, sales were sluggish. Its prices were considered too high and its product sizes too large. But the biggest problem: Most Chinese women don’t have much body hair, and those who do didn’t worry about it. So the company embraced a new marketing plan. Reckitt Benckiser rolled out ads equating hair-free skin with health, confidence, and “shining glory.” In the process, the company has helped make many Chinese women more conscious of every stray follicle. “It’s not how much hair you have, it’s how much you think you have,” says Aditya Sehgal, the company’s China chief. “If your concern level is high enough, even one hair is too much"
