i saw some ted talk about aging that says cancer (and a couple other things including heart disease) is just the natural course of the body. it's just what it does when you get old
- but people are getting cancer at 30, 36, 42 y-o ... even 8 or 4 y-o.benfal99
- cancer is natural. it wasnt made by humans.CygnusZero4
- natural? made by human? What are you talking about.benfal99
- like anything i think you can "use up" your body faster than normal by doing certain thingsscarabin
- you do realize humans didnt invent cancer, correct? it is a NATURAL thing sir.CygnusZero4

wifi radiation is a thing but i thing the guilty one is the food we eat. The industrialisation of food that occurs in the last 20 years is crazy. We're eating so much shit once again in the name of profits.
- CygnusZero40
a buddy of mine died at 24 from bone marrow cancer. he didnt drink, smoke, work around fumes, cell phones didnt exist at the time, he was very healthy and in great shape. it happens. cancer is a natural disease that has been effecting living organisms since we first showed up. amazing to me that people think cancer is some sort of nefarious thing that was created by people lmfao.
- benfal990
CygnusZero, NO ONE said humans invented cancer... stop your phylosophycal thinking with the "when you die you're nothing" ... this is not the topic we're talking about right now.
- benfal990
yes cancer is natural, but the choices you make in life can help that cancer to grow on.

.
" cancer is a natural disease "
- CygnusZero4you don't know what you're talking about.
cancer is an umbrella term for a thousand different diseases with a thousand different causes. some of them definetely man-made (exposure to carcinogens, artifical radiation, etc.).

^^^^^
True. Cancer occurs in nature that happens when one of the parents carries a gene or when a very specific things happen when the dna/genes of 2 parents combine and to a certain extent these aren't exactly compatible per se and created dormant malformed cells for example.Pollution, cell phones, pesticides, age, lack of nutrients, smoking awake these cells and trigger rapid cell growth that turns into cancer.
If we all only ate organic food, used solar energy and were less exposed to man-made things like microwaves, those dormant cells would not awake a lot of times and cancer would be less of a problem.
So yeah, humans are definitely to blame for making things worse.
- benfal990
Just imagine our world today without wi-fi... Imagine in 10 years a big discovery saying wifi causes multiple cancer and they start banning wifi. No more wifi, all back to wires.
- VectorMasked0
It's all quite interesting and amazing.
A single visit to McDonald's on a very specific date, like let's say a dad takes his kid to McDonald's tomorrow and gets him a happy meal with the McNuggets... tomorrow, one of those nuggets could trigger a dormant cell and start the process of rapid cancerous growth cell. That small McNugget, could cost the kid his life, a limb or the family's savings in cancer treatment exactly a year after he ate that single McNugget, without them ever knowing the reason.
- benfal990
and the cancer industry is racking trillion$$$ every year in medicine and treatment. Even if someone find a cure to cancer, not sure the Pfizers of this World would let that cure see the light of the sun.
- VectorMasked0
^ The healthcare and pharmaceutical companies have got to have somewhere in an old cabinet the cure for cancer since like the 90's. They are just trying to exploit the cancer business like you say.
- thats fucking stupid. it would be on the market then.cannonball1978

A lot of you are saying cell phones and wifi cause cancer when that has never been proven...the problem is that over the internet there is a lot of misinformation and hysteria that gets passed along.
Also the "secret cure for cancer theory"....there are many different types of cancer. I doubt there will ever be a single cure for all of them.
- check out this article http://www.electrics…benfal99
- it dont say it cause cancer, it say it's not good to have radiation in your body all day longbenfal99
- radiations are interacting with with your cells. no good.benfal99

^^ Regarding the "causes"... it's like the god vs. no god debate. Science is one step ahead and has theories that are very plausible and that are hard to refute.
It's way too much of a coincidence that humans start polluting on a huge scale, invent microwaves, and all kinds of wireless devices, goes nuts with genetically modified food and pesticides and generates all kinds of things and situations that affect humans and magically Cancer explodes and becomes a major global issue.
Then it's quite common for Oncologists to tell you after you've been diagnosed with cancer to eat as much organic food as possible, to avoid processed foods, to avoid unnecessary stress and to try to live a "healthy life" as all these food and daily changes become like a second medication during your treatment. And as for the cure and what you said... that's a yes and no. Cancer sort of starts the same way whether that is breast cancer or a bone tumor. So, in a way, yes, they all could be treated with the same medication, if the cancer is detected early on. The point here is to stop to rapid cell growth caused by defective dna/genes. A second medication could or would be necessary if the cancer is past the first stages of growth or if it has spread to other areas as a medical procedure (surgery, radiotherapy) could be possible in certain parts of the body but impossible in other, or because the medication used to target a certain tissue or organ could burn or damage another organ.
And yeah, I myself believe that a cure for cancer has been found. I look at data, and life experiences and it just doesn't make sense in any way that certain illnesses can be treated quite easily and cancer cannot.
- ukit20
There are quite a few illnesses we can't treat yet, so not sure I follow the logic there. There's an obvious proven link between pollution and cancer so agree on that one...but you are just throwing wireless internet and GMOs in there without any proof.
Isn't it possible that the increase is due mainly to known causes such as smoking, pollution, obesity, etc?
- benfal990
not sure about the radiations and GMOS, but pollution and food have been proved many times.
- Well radiation kills and deforms cells. So it could very well be a reason. They are considered to be possible causes for cancer.VectorMasked
- i knowbenfal99
- VectorMasked0
Sure things like smoking are certainly the main reasons, but as a whole it's everything we've done or created in the last few decades, some to more degree that others. It's smoking, nutrition, pesticides, pollution, mercury, all the wireless and microwave signals, the demanding and stressful lives we live now, the fast food...

Yep
Vegetarian diet 'raises risk of heart disease and cancer'
-Over generations, vegetarianism leads to genetic mutations in populations
-Mutation makes it easier for vegetarians to absorb fatty acids from plants
-Also boosts arachidonic acid, which raises risk of heart disease and cancer
-Mutated obstructs production of omega 3 - which protects the heart- Dude that's the Daily Mail!
Just saying!
Switching to vegan'isum' is the greatest thing i ever did for myself.mugwart - Heard a report on US radio too, couldn't find link. There's studies showing this. Not that I have anything against veggies. I primarily am classical vegetariandrake-von-drake
