Would something like this work for downloading torrents? I've been shut down a couple times from my ISP.. they got a letter from HBOtime, etc. Now that Game of Thrones is back on I'm dying to DL it.

^ use a tor browser to hind the browser traffic, (ie; magnet/piratebay search) then use a proxy to hide the actual torrent data. not endorsing but something like this btguard.com.. or just use a seed box but you'll still need a tor browser
- antagonlsta0
seedbox is the "safest" since the torrent data is not stored on any local network. you basically use the seedbox like a webhost. it's use to dl/seed your torrent traffic. then use ftp to transfer to local network. since ftp is unmonitored and legal by all means of the data transfer; there is no issue. use the tor browser to hind any traffic you might want untraceable. (ie any magnet links or torrent searches)don't forget to pay your seedbox host bill with bitcoin and you can add a layer of protection with a VPN for all packet traffic regardless; you'll be a ghost.

- even proxy services help with encryption bonu.antagonlsta
- also with VPNs this is a situation where price determines speed. dont cheapo uot; you'll notice.antagonlsta

It shouldn't be necessary to hide the browser traffic..nothing illegal about visiting Pirate Bay or any other site. Just use a VPN while downloading the actual torrent.
- some isps block ip addresses. tor is nice since there is no need to manual proxy international since they do it native.antagonlsta

Tor is an excellent service/browser. i use it all the time on the go when i connect with an open network such as starbucks. i haven't used it for any darknet searches like piratebay (which i know isn't technically darknet) but that browser makes vpn tunnel through a snap, with the added security of their proxy nodes. i'm "hidden" in plain sight sort of thing..
