I've been using Silver Efex and HDR Efex for a while now. Silver Efex is wonderful!

I use LR daily. Always tempted by aperture but there is no grain control. With aperture plus sfx there will be I guess.
Is sfx really better than LR?

Thats crazy. Buy the company and sell the product super cheap. I really hope they dont water it down or incorporate it into some sort of google+ instagram because i really like these plugins
- I think they will - they're not a pro software company really are theycraigatkinson
- i thought they were pretty pro. i use them alot in lightroom and photoshop.deathboy
- no, google I meancraigatkinson
- They've already included the Snapseed-ish stuff in Google+, so hopefully they keep this as a Pro productformed

Wow, that is a good deal. I got suckered into a OnOne deal and have used it once, tried a dozen times and never like it. Purchased actions are about the same, I always end up scrapping and doing my own thing.
Is Nik that much better than OnOne?

just trying silver efex. While I like a lot of what it can do, am I right in thinking there is no way of reopening an edited image and re-editing from an earlier point - like LR lets you. IE a non destructive editing system? Nik seems to be destructive and only editable not re-editable.
