i've started to amass quite a few. and it's pricey using my UK company (20 pounds GB)...
anyone recommend any other domain registers that are good and cheaper? even US ones??? i've seen places like godaddy offer them for .99cents.... any recommends or alts?
thanks!

www.namecheap.com I use... and like them, elsewhere may be cheaper...
I don't trust godaddy for various reasons, they try to confuse you into clicking on stuff that bills you more $$, and they can be weird if you change your credit card number, as one client had a big mess with them once....

GoDaddy sucks! I used to like them but they're just a hot mess in recent years.
Another option would be Hover:
https://www.hover.com/They've been working pretty hard to keep a simple user experience and lure away angry GoDaddy customers.

If you love elephants don't buy domains on Godaddy.

What's wrong with Godaddy?
Buy the domain and host somewhere else.
Plus there are lots of coupons. http://www.retailmenot.com/view/…

have had them forever. never had a complaint. (although their web-host service sucks) their domain name management is pretty good.

123-reg.co.uk are cheap in the UK. Not come across any hidden/extra charges though always double check renewals/renewal dates, had issues with not getting reminders with them in the past.
Wouldn't use them for hosting though, had to do some work for client with hosting with them and it was down more than it was up.

GoDaddy has shit policies. I recently "won" a domain name there that they were holding after it expired. They won't let me transfer it for 60 days after I paid for it.
I keep all my other domains with http://hover.com
Simple, good pricing, no scammy/spammy policies. Just recently moved all the domains from Network Solutions / GoDaddy over I could.
