I'd feel uncomfortable uploading my photoshopped boobie pics into the Adobe cloud.

I've moved away from thinking about a CC membership, but lately realized I have a decent amount of work soon that could benefit from upgrading from Illustrator CS3 to CS6. Cost is $249. The site shows that I can still upgrade from CS3.
Thought about InDesign upgrade eventually, but looking at the site, it looks like you can only upgrade from CS 5 or CS5.5 for InDesign. I only have CS3. Anyone know if they recently cut some old versions from upgrade eligibility?
My thought is, the CS6 versions of anything are likely to work great for me for a number of years.

Creative Suite 6 - £799 - £1200
Creative Cloud - £46 × How many months you work for the rest of your career assuming the cost doesn't increase which it will and if you stop paying you can no longer open your files.- That's cheap for CS6. I just checked and it goes for 2600€-3600€ in France.

"if you stop paying you can no longer open your files."
what are you talking about??
I just cancel my account last week and everything is fine.

As I understand it, when you cancel your account, you have a grace period of 30 days to still use the software to open files.

just take the file on their cloud back to your own drive and you're fine.
a .psd is a .psd- the cloud doesn't remove the files from your drive...evermonospaced
