Get a Nespresso and put yourself out of your misery. If my house was on fire, I'd grab the machine before I grabbed my wife or children. It's that good.

I prefer nespresso, the quality of the coffee and machine is just better. Swiss quality > American coffee.
- I was actually upset an automatic system could make good espresso. I want to believe it's an art, but they nailed it.zarkonite
- nailed it.zarkonite
- yeah we have an Nespresso maker in the office and it's so good it started me thinking of the Keurig system and if the have any espressos that are as that good.fooler

I used to fanatical about coffee, grinding my own $30lb beans at home and making my own espresso.
Now I just chuck 1/2 Folgers into a bargain basement Walmart drip coffee-maker and I'm satisfied.
If I get some Starbucks beans on special offer I might use a French press, and really enjoy it. I know everyone says the Starbucks coffee is burnt and what not, I honestly don't care if those people think they know more about coffee than I do, they can talk about that all they want, I'll just enjoy mine, I can't be bothered to waste time thinking about it any more. I drink it, it wakes me up, it tastes pretty good and it's cheap. On with the day.- Or rather, "it's not 2008, no one talks about coffee anymore."mikotondria3

We have a Flavia coffee machine in our office and the coffee it makes is pure swill. Not to mention the foil packs that must be disposed of after each cup.
If you're into composting, the used coffee grounds from an old school coffee maker make excellent compost.

Bodum.
No waste.
No lock-in format.
Clean it the same way you clean the mug you drank from.
Bodum.

what is the difference between this thing and the new Vue system? Are the K-cups going to be phased out, at which point you've wasted your money?

- Agreed, I brew espressos instead of coffee at home.section_014

I have a little single serve one. When I'm too lazy or in a hurry to empty the coffee grinds from my Cusinart Grind & Brew drip machine (I love it) I use this. It's not bad. I buy the coffee cups from Costco in bulk and it's about $0.50/cup.

Just spend ~$10 for a reusable converter and brew any coffee you like... works perfectly for me... no need to buy any of those overpriced k cups.
- how is this any different than using a normal machine except you paid a ton more for a feature you don't use?scarabin
- fresh brewed coffee every cup, scarab, not just the first of the potlocustsloth
- also, saving money by not wasting coffee that you don't drink from a small or large potlocustsloth
- because buying individual servings saves money... yeah.albums
- no, but using this filter and buying the same coffee you always do wouldlocustsloth
- why not just make smaller pots?scarabin
- This saves time. No need to measure the water or the coffee. Just fill the cup and hit a buttonlocustsloth
- tru... takes me about 1 minute to brew a single cup... don't need more than that in the morning... works for me perfectly.djurizen
- do you put you grounds in the sink/garbage disposal?fooler

Everyday. Love it. Fast, Easy, Clean.
Once you find your bean brew you will be good. I buy my k-cups at Costco. I think it works out to be .47 cents per coffee. In addition, I have the custom brew thingy, so if I ever wish to sip a different bean, I am golden.
