I thought the first half was great and in keeping with the last two films. Second half the plot kind of fell apart. I wish they would leave out the dumb computer hacking scenes.

I've never seen a Bond movie. Should I start with this one?
- MrAbominable0
When people say this was the best Bond in years. Do they mean like in the past 2 years?
- Yes.CygnusZero4

- LOL! Roger Moore actually said it!

Exactly. "OMG Best Bond Film Ever!!"
What's a gold finger?...

It was terrible. I wouldn't even call it a movie. "Incoherent edit of action clips" would be a much better description.

i give it a mehh out of 10

That location in Scotland was nice, but the whole end sequence was corny and predictable. The whole setting the traps thing, its been done in so many movies. In fact I was just floored they went with something so common and typical for the end action sequence.
- Home AloneORAZAL
- Lol, yeah that would be one.CygnusZero4
- "...get 'em Marv !!!...."prophetone
- Agree. Rest of the film was shot so well but ending like a 80s direct to video moviewebazoot

So let's see (spoilers)...an agent abducts the head of British Intelligence to his childhood home in the country while their are people coming to kill her. With no weapons and never calls for backup.

The ending was so terribad!!!
I hope that Daniel Craig gets his wish and can exit this franchise early. It did seem like the film was intentionally written with this being a possibility.Casino Royale is still the best Bond film, by far. (A near perfect film actually, IMO.)

SPOILERs/ was so excited to see this. loved the last two. was not happy. not mad either, just whatever. no twists, no turns. saw everything coming a mile away. and why the old scottish housekeeper needed a flashlight when the entire countryside was lit up with bright orange fire, i'll never know. the beginning was great though. wish they'd kept whatever they had goin in Casino Royale here. :|

I always find it strange when people go to mega corporate events like this film and then go and without shame publicly confess it. That's like going o McD and ordering one of those $1 items - do it if you have to but don't walk around all proud of it.
- yeah, expressing an opinion about a film in a forum is exactly like going to mcds and being proud about your $1 happy mealprophetone
- to clarify, that was sarcasm, not prideprophetone
- haha, comparing a corporate event like this one (even thinly called a film) to an actual film...haha!pr2
