Yeah I know. But it's basically a p2p for the offline element. I do not want that. A fragment of my archive here, another there. How does that affect restoration? What if I am waiting for chunks from devices where the net is disabled, device is unplugged, or bandwidth is non-existent. I am sure the same chunk exists on several different drives for redundancy, but nuts to that.

I'm going to to for the service which is easiest to use for daily back-ups and working remotely. Bitcasa looks good - going to give it a try - unless anyone suggests otherwise..

I've been using Backblaze for about 2 years, works well, backs up everything so you don't have to spend time on configuration.
