Wow. They must be giving out a ton of tickets to be able to afford a website like this. I gotta say this is the nicest PD website I've ever seen.

AMERICA! Fuck yehhh

I gotta say that's rather impressive.

It scrolls very slowly.

the photos are impressive as well

Looks more like a promo for an HBO series, and/or some Nike/Addidas kevlar uniforms,etc....
seems very fashionable and uninformational....
and/or a great example of "great design" for an "amazing portfolio" that's not exactly meant for "the actual target market"

It can have good design with relevance to taret audience.
typical wiz bang letsmakeitcool approach to design.

Really lovely photography. Not institutional by any means.

Good design is good for society and maybe someone did this on a discount
BUT
The photos look like a movie poster. They don't look real. They don't reflect "crime" at all.
This looks more like a super hero website / psa more than an informative website.
It's a step in a good direction tho.

This is literally the best police website I have seen. It really presents the info in an interesting way.

Not sure if this makes sense, but the (nice) design doesn't match/fit the content.

ya it's looking pretty fancy. perhaps the fanciest police site.
although i would think police site should at least be functional and informative... :(

This is the opposite of design.

I don't believe this is suppose to replace the Milwaukee police site. http://city.milwaukee.gov/police…
It looks more like a recruiting site/ highlighting the police in a different light. You know stuff the army has been doing for years. Whatever I think it looks nice.
