Has any of you crazy muthafukers crazy enough to snowboard with a DSLR before? I'm thinking about it but it sound like a stupid idea...
- Brought mine with me last week. Just brought two small primes (20mm and 50mm). Purchased a small camera bag and stuffed that into my board bag. Worked well, no damages it was just a pain to take out but worth it since i live nowhere near the mountains.summs

i surfed with a disposable waterproof camera once, taking photos of myself and my broh. it wasn't easy. i had it strapped around my wrist, then later stuffed it down the back of my wet-suit to paddle. but i'm assuming you want to take video footage.

I have taken my dslr and a wide angle lens too while riding on bear mtn in the past. I had it on my back pack most of the time, but will stop to take photos of my buddies while they were doing tricks on a box or something.
Then I got a gopro, and it's a no brainer now. If you fall nothing happens, you can shoot video too and there's all sorts of attachements / accessories for it which will make riding and shooting super easy.nowhere near the control and quality from a dslr, but you will also be able to take photos/ video that you probably won't be able to get with a dslr, mainly due to portability/ attachements, etc

Sal M is annoying... he says early on that "the very best riders are going to navigate a course like never seen before..."
Actually... it's the same course as last year, they just cut out a lot of trees to open it up. Geez.
