I've been annoyingly tasked with writing the next article for work's blog.
The account handlers and clients we deal with have no respect or understanding of the importance of white space so I want to educate them on why it's more than just an empty space that needs filling.
Just wondered if anyone on here has any great examples where white space has been used. Or maybe a good article or quote which I can reference?
The use of negative space is key to aesthetic composition.
I had someone once tell me that the whitespace on their site wasn't functional. True story.
the more white space there is (generally) the more the eyes goes to key content.
Exactly. The problem is with this place is that they have a few fucking dinosaurs working here who used to work on old fashioned shitty DM. Every bit of space is crammed with something. And roundel... oh god the roundels!!
That coke ad is perfect. No copy needed. Cheers for that.
