I think it's crazy that even when I provide tons of links,

The law of the land should be upheld regardless of how crappy or unjust they maybe. Both sides point finger at one another. The people of the west live in a bubble.
This is what is happening. A whole group of people are forced to live in one of the largest prison in the world. This is supported by the west. Where are the condemnation of this continued astrocity.

if you like their approach, then what's the problem with the 2 year term? they got exactly what they wanted, raised a huge stink, world-wide publicity. the harsher the sentence the better for their cause.

i get what georgesIII is saying. the thing is blown out of proportion and reeks of western chauvinism. shallow idolatry, primitive good vs. evil narrative.
the US justice system, others, is at least as broken as the russian one, uncivilised. capital punishment for mentally handicapped, 3-strike law, many more examples. the way the pussy riot thing is reported doesn't factor in at all russian realities, but follows same old stereotypes, ignorance. as usual.
