would have been cool if they made the dot over the "i" red.

it's almost as bad as their pizza
- i actually like it. (the logo, not the pizza), it's a nice evolution.indian_pole
- Their pizza has been getting better. I was surprised the last time I had to eat it (someone else ordered).ETM

Their pizza taste like sweet gooey donuts with Velveeta cheese spread all over it. Almost as bad as Pappa John's pizza.
- <--this. Shit pizzad_rek
- they don't use Velveeta spread.monospaced
- Papa John's is awesome. Fucking pizza snobs.CanHasQBN

check to see if the angle is 33 degrees

It does looks similar to ... Gotham Ultra with a sloppier apostrophe. Wouldn't take much trickery to get there, and I always think a rebrand of this magnitude is unlikely to be simply typed in.
They still sell grease-laden death frisbees, though.

It's ok. Doubt many people will even notice. Could be a lot worse.

I think the face is too squat - too much of a departure from the old one. If it was 10%-15% higher it would have a little more sizzle, at the moment I think the proportion of the curves and the length of the D makes it seem languid. It's always hard when a face has circular lower case Os for them not to dominate the geometry and clinical nature of the rest of it, but...mm, I dunno - that uppercase D just isn't peppy enough for me. I think the domino motif is a touch undersized and the blue is a hair too green, and a hair too unsaturated. Overall it just needs a 'spritz'. But not much. If I had done this - and honestly I wouldn't have done such a great job, BUT in fantasy land, I would have not stopped at this stage. Dialling in that last 5% is the difference between very good and great, and it doesn't come easy, without study and talent and balls. It's very good at the moment, but...so much is. Nearly.

When I see the logo I remeber that the pizzas taste of either number 1 or number 2.

The original logo is better. Needs some massaging, like the apostrophe, but at least it has a stronger form, not just another bland, sans serif re-brand.
Just add a gradient and drop shadow and call it a day.
