Sensata employees in Freeport Illinois reach out to Mitt Romney for help in saving their jobs
Sensata is owned by Bain Capital, a private equity investment firm co-founded by Romney in 1984. Romney served as CEO of the company from 1984 until 2002, according to SEC filings

LOL this is awful for Romney campaign. They know he can do it as he owns 51% of Bain, so if he doesn't he's gonna look like a true asshole. This will be interesting to watch.
He's probably not going to do shit, and so much for his "I want to create jobs"..

I've been reading that Frank Luntz book "Words that Work" in the past week, and it touches on a lot of why certain people that vote Republican understand things the way they do, and why Bush was able to relate so well to them. Bush was a basic-spoken person who did not use big words and used language that low-information people could relate to. All the sophisticated, long-winded dialog from many Democrats is over their head, comes off as elitist, and they won't take the time to read it.
So as I've been railing on Romney to people, and within Facebook conversations, I've been trying to apply that to the points I'm trying to make. Nobody that I tell to read the Rolling Stone article about Bain is going to read it. They just won't. They'll sit through the lies and exaggerations and bullshit in the 2016 movie, but they won't take the time to read real facts.
So, I've distilled that article, and Romney's business history down to a pretty minimal question or response to people:
"How do you feel about Wall Street greed, about rich investors getting richer, and about investment firms that bankrupt good businesses, lay off hardworking people, and make tens of millions if not hundreds of millions for investors?"
]The logical response is to say that's all terrible, and it's what's at fault for many of our economic problems right now.]
"Now, how do you feel knowing that much of what Mitt Romney did as a businesses man was the same exact thing? How do you feel about his "success" and that what he was really good at as a businessman was to destroy companies with debt, lay off their workers, and make money for the rich? Do you realize that this is what he was successful at - unbuilding businesses, being greedy, and making millions and millions of dollars from doing so?"
When you put it that way and ask those questions, it probably makes it easier to digest. It probably won't change their minds, but might help show how Romney is no different from all the Wall Street money-grubbing swindlers who rip people off and profit from it.
Success from creating failure.

Super Moderate Mitt tonight. He seemed to be on par or general agreement with almost everything the current administration's done.
Essentially: "I agrees with much of what the president has done, however, I will do it for less money and we'll be stronger".
- He's a salesman. That's what he does.CygnusZero4
- Doesn't energize his base though. And that's a much higher percentage, than the undecided, that you want to ensure are at the poll.ETM

Good if Obama won, but unfortunately Romney has the momentum right now.
Your typical low information voter probably hears that Romney will bring jobs, and makes their decision based on that. Of course a year from now they will regret electing him, but that's the American electorate for you.
- Not saying Romney will win, but it's way closer than it should beukit2
