^ And almost half the population of the country is for them too. You really think this corporatist gives a damn about the American people? He was born and bred for corporate greed. He's the epitome of it. His eyes are dollar signs. How Republicans can call Obama an "elitist" with a straight face is mind-boggling, considering where Romney comes from and how much money he has.

Tell me exactly, whhipp, how you expect conservatives to reduce the amount of abortions, without basing it on religious guilt and shame, when the right's answer is abstinence, when Tennessee has banned the use of the word "sex" in sex ed and Utah has banned sex ed altogether, and Romney/Ryan want to defund planned parenthood who's mission is to "improve women’s health and safety, prevent unintended pregnancies, and advance the right and ability of individuals and families to make informed and responsible choices."?
- you should stop asking whipp questions. He needs to get his GED first.zaq
- im saying you are approaching the problem in a defense against religious persecution, when in fact we can all agree that abortion is not good. So lets agree its not good... then try to solve the issue at hand... of course their will be extremes left and right, but I feel if the majority actually get down from the staunch old rhetoric and actually look at the issue for what it is and agree its not a good thing no matter how you look at it, both sides can agree on some course to reduce abortions etc.whhipp

- we CANNOT agree that abortion is not good. It's a goddamn miracle of science to have the option. Good for the country and economy as well.monospaced
- the economy as well. Unwanted pregnancies happen and they ruin lives, you Republican assholemonospaced
- Pft. That was crap. Everyone knows it's bad, that's the dreadful choice that women struggle with. That's the point.mikotondria3
- Difficult choice does not equal bad. That's entirely opinionated and based on morals dictated by something external.monospaced
- Mono, i know two girls who had abortions. It was the right decision at the time. They are still not good. They still suffer from that decisionlocustsloth
- from those decisions. What i think you mean to say is that in certain situations, they are better than the alternativelocustsloth
- so we are aborting to better our economy? now who looks like a cold stone killer of the poor here?whhipp
- Why are you neocons so against birth control then? Admit you're pushing for a christian theocracy.aaux
- The abortion issue is just a bullshit disguise to make you sunny day "christians" to feel like you're good people.aaux

Unemployment rate = number of people unemployed, determined by a poll
Jobless claims = number of people filing for unemployment benefits

If the BLS numbers are fake, would someone please tell the Romney campaign to stop embarrassing themselves by quoting BLS numbers in their attack ads.

He may be the next President, judging by poll numbers this week.
Like I said at the beginning of the thread, more people overall support Obama. But the Obama supporters are apathetic and a lot of them probably won't vote.
I would rather see Obama re-elected but the trend is towards Romney right now.
