For business cards set in Courier, what is the smallest point size you'd recommend using?
How about Univers?

6 looked fine to me, but wanted another opinion. It sounded small.

Yes sound is a much better parameter for judging font sizes that vision

if the card is for business with elder ppl, barely go under 8pt

depends on letter weight, kerning, printing method.

Also is text to be reversed out of a color?

7pt minimum for sentence case important details on a card. 6pt in caps I reckon.

how much text do you have to put on there ffs? their general terms and conditions?

6,5/10,5...This last recommendation is not about size, but on the spacing.
What kind of paper?
What texture?
What color?

If it's all uppercase, 5pt is perfectly legible, if there's no dot from the process colours. On coated stock in special colours, you could probably go smaller with an open typeface.
Also depends on how much copy - a couple of bits of info would be tolerable but or a long list of every contact detail and social app name could be a headache.
