Got a new internal SSD 256GB that I want to use as a boot drive.
Anybody got any experience of partitioning it as the boot drive for Os/Applications and using the other partition as a Scratch disk for Photoshop.
Would that be wise to do as I want to have my working files on an external USB 3 drive as reccomended? I want it running fast as fast as possible.

I don't think there is a need to partition, I wouldn't.
Just point PS to the startup drive as Scratch Disk (it will point itself by default actually).

Suppose so raf.
Heard about creating a Ram Disk using an SSD drive too, apparently its fast as fook.
