Any suggestions for places to go in London tonight?
Cool pubs, bars, gigs, clubs?
Where shall my girlfriend and I go?

Head east – Old Street, Hoxton areas. Plenty to do (drink) and see (drunks) all within walking distance of each other. Check-out TimeOut London for specific tastes. It's a shame the weather is so crap as there are a few cool rooftop places in the area but they'll be a wash out (actually The Queen of Hoxton – A QBN meet-up place – has a covered rooftop bar).
Have a good one!

if you're still going after all that, head to Dalston... and just hope you make it out alive...

Yep... Dalston is the place now.
The Alibi, Dalston Superstore, The Yellow door and many others...
That's if you like been surrounded by rich white kids pretend that they are slumming it.... Wearing clothes that most people couldn't afford if they had a half decent job.
- Just wear big non-prescription glasses and you'll fit right ingoldieboy

me and a few mate was laughing in this dudes face last week.
He was wearing some sort of tiara that came over his forehead, and a fucking black beanie on top of that....
When we got up to get off, it's turns out that they was getting of the same stop... the kid was wearing Alice in wonderlands fucking dress with white pop socks and creepers... I am too old for this shit.

The thing about Dalston is that apparently you have to come up with things like squatting (although you are perfectly able to pay a rent) and grow a beard regardless of how shitty it looks on you...
Are the fixies still trendy or is it too 2011?
Anyway, the area has some cool places and Dalston Superstore normally is a great gig.
I'll be out around Mayfair today, which is the inverse opposite of Dalston. Plenty of skint people pretending that they can afford champagne (on credit) for blonde girls with fake tan pretending they can afford designer shoes.
- "able to pay a rent" haha you seen rent prices in Dalston these days?animatedgif
- enough to pay a 2 bed flat in more modest areas... like south ken! : Pmaikel

Personally i fucking hate it down there... I'm actually old enough to remember a time when it was a bustling multi-ethnic community...
Now half those peeps kids can't even afford to live on their own doorstep! Next the wanky city developers will move in and make everything shiny and crazy money... And all the rich arty cunt will then complain that it's not "urban" enough and move further down the road... I can't wait for them to reach Tottenham.
They will hurt them.
Rant over... Have a good time :)
- Oi, you still have the Turks in there...maikel
- Yeah... Everyone else is gone!necromation

Tonight on southbank the london firespinning crew is gonna be practicing, showing off and trying some cool shit. Definitely worth a look, it's free, and it's something different.
However that's what I said about the laser show last night XP

Buy a torch then startle tube-goers with shadow puppet plays, shining the light through your ball-sack.
- Look, look... tell me what you see. Its a rabbit, right? Its a rabbit.Horp

Also, decent drinks around Goodge St.
Proper Soho is alright, but they ramp up the super gay techno to maximum on Fridays/Saturdays. I've really gotta be in the mood for thumping Flo Rida and Whitney remixes

What sort of places do you like to go to?

Not massively fussed, just somewhere with a good relaxed atmosphere. Maybe some funk, rare groove, soul playing in the background. Good ales...

Browns of Shoreditch, plenty of rare groove in the background
