If the phone is locked and you have notifications from different apps showing, you can slide-to-unlock on the small app icons to go straight to the app of your choice.

From the locked screen, swipe the camera icon upwards to go to camera.
When typing, shake the phone to undo typing. You'll look more cooler doing this than using the backspace button.
