Yeah that girl is really really cute. Love her accent and the way she says "remote control". Also nice legs. Oh, I could go on...

A built in 2.1 sound system is simply inadequate. Blu-ray without a center channel is pathetic, and this provides no way to expand (to 3.1, 5.1 or 7.1) or improve on quality with better amps, speakers or decoding. Wi-Fi ready? Does this mean that it will require an ethernet cable (wire) or a separate Wi-Fi accessory? This might appeal to college students, but that makes sense because so much of their products do just that already. They might look good, but they're not always made of the best materials. I bet this TV will have a barely-passable, cheap display and the cabinet and electronics will be standard IKEA. I wouldn't be surprised if all the components are base, entry-level electronics that fall apart as soon as you move, just like their Billy bookcases.
- I don't own a tv. No entertainment system whatsoever. and what the hell is a blue ray? i think this is good enough for me lolpango
- enough for me lolpango

The TV is made by a shitty brand - Alcatel. They do the kind of TVs you can pick up in Supermarkets for about half the price of a decent set.

Having said that, the girl selling it is pretty persuasive.

i don't want one, but many will and find it very handy. i can see this become commonplace in basement romper rooms everywhere. where kids can nerf gun all over it and play their handy manny and sons of anarchy dvds. i also see this being a great first apartment purchase.
they will sell like hot cakes regardless of snooty opinion or quality of product. they will soon flood the electronics sections of craigslist's around the earth. the girl is cute, that is all.

@ mono:
I kinda know what it is but never seen it. Is it good? I still have a tv with composite connection. well it's not really mine and i have no idea who's it is. no cable tho. and more and more devises don't support composite anymore so i thought maybe it's time to get an upgrade.- It's a 1080p HD disc format. About 4X the quality of DVD and about the same as the best HD broadcast content.monospaced
