Is there anyway to copy your layout and flip it horizontally so your guides, trim and fold marks are properly aligned on the opposite side of the page?

Copy them on to your master page, drag a new master down as an opposite page

"Never forget that guides are just objects in InDesign, so you can select them, adjust their position with the arrow keys on the keyboard or the measurement in the Control panel, put them on layers, lock them, use Step and Repeat with them, and so on."

Sounds like you're creating "spreads." In that case, it's best to create the document with "facing pages" where you can set your column and gutter widths, as well as the margins for "inside" and "outside." Once you've done that, the layout will be "mirrored." As for just "flipping" it, it's not that simple. It's best to just manually set it up.

Basically, I was feeling lazy and didn't want to place all my guides, folds and trims a second time. I thought there might be a way to basically flip the canvas keeping the guides and artwork together.
I found that indesign will allow you to rotate the page in this way, but will not allow you to flip it.

the layout i.e. objects you layed other than guides you can just select all and flip them. as for the guides, I don't think there's a way to flip them. only through create guides on master pages like mono said (they will mirror) Or just select them all and drag them if your layout permits it...

Was hoping there was a way with just one click. It's not a long process, but it does seem like a function that would exist in indesign. Perhaps in the next version.

I agree, it would be nice to treat guides like that, but in my long experience using InDesign (and Quark), it's best to have as few guides as possible. If you can achieve your goals with just the document setup (margins, gutters) and "create guides" for the horizontals, you'll be in a better place and it will help you in the future. Good luck!

Anyway to force a paragraph style to be all lowercase. There's the right click > change case, but i don't see anything like that in paragraphs style. Would it be a GREP thing?
