Question for all of you prescription glasses wearers. But first, some backstory.
So I haven't worn glasses in a couple years. My vision isn't terrible but I do have astigmatism and have noticed my eyes feeling more tired than usual. I went to an optometrist, got an exam and got some glasses. After wearing them for a while I noticed something was off, it appeared as if everything on the left side was a bit skewed - I noticed this the most when looking at the computer screen.
Something like this:
I went back to the optometrist - different guy this time - told him what was up and got another eye exam. He said my left eye took on a bit more astigmatism since the initial exam and that could have been why. I tried out some new lenses and everything seemed good.
I got my replacement glasses in the mail last night and the same shit is happening again.
In the times that I've had glasses before I've never experienced anything like this. Just wondering if something similar has happened to anyone.

it's normal, it's what happens when you look through your glasses not through the center. light waves are bending. square things always seems to curve with your lense.

Have you tried twisting your monitor to the right a bit?

So it's just something I've gotta get used to?
- yes. you're looking through glass that distorts light so you can see. keyword: distortsdoesnotexist

I have astir in my left eye so also need presc glasses. When I got new, weaker ones, things looked a little flat. My previous ones were too strong and creating a slight fish-eye effect. You should get a 2nd opinion re prescript - might be too strong, you shouldn't be getting 'effects' like that.
