A few comments in there wonder why his being an American is prefaced with "Taiwanese" in the first place since he wasn't born there.

What cultural implications did you mean? Did you mean not making it related to Chinese, or, not overly-highlighting his Asian background?
Like I said, not picking on you, just curious what you meant. You put a ton of work into this as something fun to do - I wish like hell I had that kind of free time and dedication to that sort of thing.
