Can anyone think of the names of any warning signs that are sent out in case of an emergency, or even something that hasn't happened yet?
I guess maybe the name of some sort of digital signal, not SOS or morse code though, too common. Hoping to find a word or name that's a little more abstract maybe. Drawing a blank here.

Doesnt even really have to be the name of a specific type of warning, but maybe even just an interesting saying, possibly something famous, or an old proverb, anything like that would be helpful too.

Seems that you'd have an interesting job if you didn't get us to do it every day.
Just kidding. Civil Defence Warning? Radar?

^ Hehe not a job, just a pain in the ass paper I'm trying to write that goes into some pretty deep topics that I know a lot about, but don't know the most interesting ways to describe things since unfortunately I don't have a lot of free time to read a lot of books right now.

What about any sort of digital warning, on the tv or radio, over the airwaves? Is there any sort of specific name for something like that?
The part that I'm writing about now gets a bit into how even important information, warnings, etc... are shared not directly with people, or on the phone, but on the internet such as sites like facebook, how different things are now, in an abstract way how we are all sort of connected through wires.
I know it's a strange question, but just looking for interesting ways to describe this concept.
