setup your own FTP (maxum.com)

my FTP yes. But I was wondering if something faster can exist... I guess no

I don't think there's anything faster than uploading to your own FTP. Most of those transfer sites take a while to upload then process or whatever - some lag time for some reason.
If client is in the same town - burn to disc or drive and deliver or have couriered.

are you sharing final files? don't give any design files away unless it's been paid for.

akrok, no, its a render test for an animation. they want the full quality for technical reasons.

if they're close to your server, network-wise (get them to run traceroute from the command-line) then FTP is good.... otherwise, amazon s3 or some sort of cloud may help the distance, but a huge single file may cause network timeouts that drive you crazy, I'd just fedex them a DVD....

will take long to upload to ftp and connection will timeout, buy a car.

+ 1 wetransfer.
I dont think ive ever uploaded 1GB via FTP without it timing out at least once. If youre going FTP make sure you have a good client that can resume when it times out.
