Do you guys think it's coming soon? I really want to pick one up. But would hate to do it right before a refresh.

just email apple and ask...

whenever you buy one you're not far from a refresh, unfortunately

I don't think they will change that much in terms of speed, it could be that it has even less options to compete with other netbooks on the market.
Apple understands that not everyone needs top of the line equipment, specially if you are just going to use it to tweet or post photos on facebook.
- looks like it might come in blackMiguex
- Apple understands every laptop will be thin and light as Air is, they will rather pack it with even more power...raf
- ...and phase out Pro, or make the next Pro as thin as Air.raf
- if they were to remove the PRO then what mobile solution will they have for the professional market? makes no sense in my opinionMiguex
- opinion...
Will they release something else with a different name you think?Miguex

Macrumors says it's "mid-product cycle". So it's kind of a crap shoot I suppose. I've got the Oct 2010 version and absolutely love it!

Did I just reply to you on another board, asking the same thing?...
Anyway, your best bet is to buy refurbished now and when there are upgraded models out later this year, sell it at a minimal loss. Those laptops seem to keep their value pretty well.
This is what I plan to do to do anyway and until that time comes, I'm going to enjoy using mine.
There are rumours of a 15" Air coming this February or March, you might just as well wait and see...

I'm waiting for a ne Mac pro and it's killing me; using a 3 year old iMac... I understand the intel processors are holding up production; anyone in the same "boat"?
First world problem, I know...

I didn't even think about Refurbished. Good plan, I bought my iMac 27" refurbished and its great.
