How much do designers generally charge for e-flyers. For a small boutique?
I'm talking about the promo kind that go out through Mail Chimp or Constant Contact.
Not too much.
(your hourly rate * project hours) + expenses = your fee
often, for projects like this, their budget is less than your hourly rate * project hours. So... it's either a template-tweek-job for lunch money.... or you have a serious conversation about this being part of a "real campaign" not just a "simple flyer"... and follow through on the "real campaign" with a full-concept of other promo ideas/projects.
e-flyers = no money for printed ones
Small Boutique = figure what one out :)
I'll be thankful if you get 50 bucks out of it.
But don't let money be the reason you do everything, you like the project? They give you creative freedom? do you enjoy it?
Then do it.
That's what I thought. Is $150 too much? Will prob. be 5 hours work or something total including actually sending it out.
Do you have a girlfriend who likes their clothes?
Designers should get 5-10% of the revenue earned.
^ ha. Perfect.
