Pretty vague. I don't know if I'd call that a style.

There isn't a name, per se. I'd put it under a broad umbrella of "modern". Color schemes, cantilevers, etc., aren't a style.
The last "styles" that were "branded" (as it was as much a theoretical exercise as actual building) was Deconstruction (thanks to a MOMA exhibit), possibly "blobs" after, but that's a more loosely defined movement (largely attributed to software advances).

Eh? Those particular examples are pretty vague but I think I get the point.
Look up "brutalism".

- The color scheme is meaningless... all the wiki examples are colorless. There's a dorm at Berkeley I think that's all fancypants thoughismith
- all fancypants though, I'll look...ismith
- NVM. For some reason I remembered Evans Hall with painted windows... must've been something else.ismith

21st Century Developer™ style

First instinct was brutalism, but it's not quite brutal enough. Not certain how you'd classify that particular example.
@CanHasQBN, although I do like timber panelling, they are being so overused in a bunch of developments where I live, mainly just to cover over hideously ugly concrete walls and the like. I just can't imagine what many of these would look like in 10 or 20 years.
- Yeah, after seeing his intentions I realized it wasn't the right direction. But I still think it's essentially the same framework but with developer written all over it...ismith
- but with developer written all over it... (more curtain walls! colors! wood panels! etc... make it home-y)ismith
- the wood thing works better on ex. the 3rd image. when it's only at some parts. and not all over.akrok
- my bad. not 3rd. see the post above. the last image.akrok

A lot of these buildings, especially those last few examples, are often built around a very simple steel framework (which at the same time 'dictates' the cubic design). A lot of it is driven by construction costs and time to construct (have you noticed how quickly new buildings sprout up in your areas?).

a bit of prefab style/looking.

That shit is not architecture, much less a style.
It's a fucking apartment building.- lawl, that's most bullshit thing I ever heard********
- What sucks is that collection of materials selected for a promoter, trying to be a building.Miesfan
- None of tradition interpreted, no advance structural cosmetic only to repay the ground, any new material. So it's a shit. And big as a chicken farm.Miesfan
- ... big as a chicken farm.Miesfan
- "big as a chicken farm" is my new saying from now on23kon
